Description

  • We will enter the history of Mexico City while admiring some of the icons that are erected on the Paseo de la Reforma: the world-famous Angel of Independence, the Diana Huntress and the Bicentennial Column. We will stop before the imposing Palace of Fine Arts to admire its mix of Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles and the secrets hidden within its walls dyed by the works of famous Mexican muralists, the likes of Diego Rivera.
  • We will tour the center of Mexico City while discovering the impressive mix of indigenous and Hispanic culture of its streets and buildings. We will approach the Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest in Latin America and one of the best examples of colonial architecture on the continent.
  • We will know the history of Mexican political life by approaching the National Palace, which has been the seat of political power in the last five centuries. We will visit the National Museum of Anthropology, located in the Chapultepec Forest, the great lung of the city.
  • We will visit the largest museum on the continent, the National Museum of Anthropology and History to learn about the pre-Hispanic origins of Mexico. We will look closely at the famous Piedra del Sol, popularly known as the Aztec calendar, and discover the secrets it hides about the origin of the universe
